Position Description

Providence Surgery and Procedure Center has an immediate need for a Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Surgical Assessment to join our team!

What You Will Do (Job Summary) -

  • Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for all our ambulatory surgery patients
  • Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness
  • Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, setting them up for a smooth recovery
  • Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support
  • Monday-Friday work schedule!
  • NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!
  • NO call required!

Pay Range: $33 - $55/hour depending on experience

Required Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
  • Current RN license in the state of Washington.
  • At least 1+ years of RN experience in Pre-Admissions or Pre-Op
  • Current BLS – Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Current ACLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.
  • Current PALS- Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) required within 90 days of hire.
