The Seattle Children's Neurology Division seeks a Registered Nurse with an interest in clinical research to join the team as a Clinical Research Coordinator I, Licensed. Attention to detail, strong clinical skills, understanding of research process, and ability to work independently and as part of a team essential. Position is 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week).
Responsible to create, organize, and submit IRB documents and follow through with approvals. Provides leadership and coordination of pediatric clinical research studies at Seattle Children's. Organize the planning and implementation of clinical research studies in accordance with current regulatory guidelines for clinical research in children. Applies nursing process and skills in conduct of research visits and in communication with families, study team members, and study sponsors. Act as a resource for research and clinical staff participating in implementation of clinical research trials.
*Required Education and Experience*
BS in Nursing.
Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience, to include a combination of the following:
Pediatric experience.
Research experience.
*Required Credentials*
Current Washington State licensure to practice nursing.
At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions.
Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers.
As a condition of employment: Current BLS for Health Care Providers is to be maintained at all times by all nurses.
*Compensation Range*
$45.80 - $68.70 per hour*Salary Information*
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
